Lettice's New Venue Partnership - Royal Museum Greenwich

We are thrilled to announce our new venue partnership with the Royal Museums Greenwich as a preferred caterer!

Royal Museums Greenwich comprises of Cutty Sark, the National Maritime Museum, the Queen’s House, Royal Observatory Greenwich and the Peter Harrison Planetarium. The five world-famous museums showcase pioneering architecture, British art and history, scientific discovery and exploration – all with a local park-side setting in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Maritime Greenwich.

All five museums offer something for everyone for every type of event. We can’t wait to work with their lovely team and collaborate on some incredible events over the next few years.

Cutty Sark

Built in 1869 to carry tea back from China, the Cutty Sark is one of the world’s most famous and beautiful ships, the fastest and greatest of its time. Now it is a fascinating museum and one of the most unique places in London to entertain your guests. The ship boasts a spectacular riverside setting where you can enjoy sunset reception drinks on the Weather Deck with sweeping views across the Thames and to the city beyond. The ship’s gleaming copper-clad hull is suspended dramatically above the Dry Berth – an awe-inspiring event space ideal for receptions, dinners and product launches.

Queen's House

The Queen’s House is Britain’s first and finest classical building, a masterpiece of 17th century architecture. This exquisite former royal residence is set in the leafy surroundings of Greenwich Park with spectacular views of the River Thames and the contrasting skyscrapers of Canary Wharf beyond. The house was designed as a place of celebration, a tradition that continues today, making it the ideal venue for luxury dining and hospitality.

National Maritime Museum

The National Maritime Museum features fascinating exhibits and striking Victorian architecture, set within a World Heritage Site. There are so many possibilities within this recently reopened versatile venue; its capacity for large-scale staging, rigging and branding makes it ideal for award ceremonies, gala dinners, receptions, lectures and product launches. On warm evenings receptions can be hosted under the adjacent stone colonnades with sweeping views across Greenwich Park.

Royal Observatory

Founded by Charles II, the Royal Observatory boasts unbeatable views and provides an unforgettable setting for evening events. For something utterly unique, the Meridian Courtyard is a superb outdoor entertaining area ideal for summer parties where guests can enjoy drinks with panoramic views over the city, standing on the Prime meridian of the world! Or inside the historic Flamsteed House is home to the elegant Octagon Room, with a rare interior designed by Sir Christopher Wren. With soaring ceilings and 360-views over London, it is an ideal setting for high-profile corporate dinners and receptions.

Peter Harrison Planetarium

Located at the heart of Greenwich Park in the striking late-Victorian Astronomy Centre, the Peter Harrison Planetarium is a unique venue which can fly you into the heart of the Sun, transport you to distant galaxies, show you the birth of a star or land you on Mars. It is an awe-inspiring backdrop for corporate entertaining and product launches
